What is a Eye Reviver?

Your skin is a window to your overall health. As you age, a decrease in collagen production leaves the skin unable to repair itself, causing fine lines and wrinkles. It is estimated that you lose 1-3% of collagen each year once you hit 25.

Since the skin around the eyes is much thinner, the first signs of ageing become noticeable in that area. It manifests itself as crow’s feet and dark circles.

Rejuran I is a treatment that rejuvenates the skin without fillers or Botox. Using salmon DNA, it regenerates the skin cells and increases the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen.
It’s called the Polynucleotides Highly Purified Technology (PN-HPT®). Polynucleotides are DNA fragments with extraordinary regenerative properties that repair damaged skin cells. Rejuran I is most suitable for thinning skin and crow’s feet because it enhances elasticity and adds fullness to the skin.

Treatment Process

Dr Shens will evaluate your overall health and the current condition of your skin. You will have a thorough consultation outlining your goals and desired results. During the visit, you will learn more about the treatment and its potential side effects.

As you move on to the procedure, your skin will be cleaned and prepped with numbing cream. The doctor will plan where to do the injections. He will use a fine 34G nanoneedle to inject small amounts of the product in the pre-marked areas.

The process takes around 20 minutes. For optimal results, the procedure should be performed repeatedly. At first, 3 sessions spaced a month apart will achieve the desired results. After that, top-up sessions should be scheduled every 3-6 months.

Recovery

Rejuran I comes with little to no downtime. You can go back to work or do other activities right away. It takes at least 4 weeks for the skin to heal and to start the repair processes that will give you a rejuvenated look. Thus, full results will be visible in a few weeks.

To help with the bruising and swelling, you should apply cold compresses to the targeted area. But overall, you don’t have to do anything special to speed up the recovery.

Eligibility

Side Effects

Rejuran I might have side effects just like any other skin treatment such as needle marks, redness of the skin, mild bruising and itchiness in the treatment area. Thanks to the 34G nanoneedle, the risk of swelling and infection is reduced.

What is more, Rejuran I comes with a more liquid consistency than other Rejuran products. Therefore, patients are not likely to get slight bumps in the treatment area.
